Brekkugerdi is newly decorated, beautifully located family run guesthouse in the South of Iceland, about twenty minutes drive from road 1. It is an ideal base to stay for 2-4 days for daytrips to one of the most beautiful surroundings of Southern Iceland. Gullfoss waterfall, Geysir and the national park Thingvellir are within 30 minutes drive. It is also very common that our guests are coming from or going to Landmannalaugar, Vík, Gjáin, Vestman Islands, Þórsmörk and even Skaftafell within a day. Lots of activities are in the neigbourhood, fishing, walking, swimming pools, highland trips and glaciers. It is also an ideal place to watch the Northern lights. The owners live at the place and it is their aim to provide you with excellent service and assistance. We help you with everything you need to have a great time in our country.
